IT Support (f/m/d)

Position Description

As a member of our IT support team you have the responsible task to provide direct support for IT systems to users by phone and ticketing.

  • Solve end-user device issues and usability issues.
  • Pass on tickets related to administration or development to second-level support.

Qualifications

  • Excellence in Windows operating platform. You can install and manage a Windows PC.
  • Solid knowledge about Microsoft Office products, including MS365.
  • Good knowledge about computer networking, Ethernet and IP addressing, routing, SIP telephony configuration.
  • Good knowledge about how a PC works, its essential hardware parts. You can assemble a PC from parts.
  • Patience with non-technical people and a problem-solving approach.
  • Willingness to travel: GLIWA has two mandatory one-week workshops in Germany per year.
  • Rarely there is a need to perform some tasks in one of the offices when it cannot be done remotely.
  • Creating documentation suitable for end users.
