IT Administrator (f/m/d)

Position Description
As an IT Administrator, you have the responsible task to support our colleagues with IT resources, such as network, user accounts, e-mail systems, and general server-side software.
- General server administration such as setting up a server from scratch with Linux or FreeBSD platform.
- Day-to-day management of our Directory, email, VPN and DNS.
- Configuration management.
- Deploying apps in Containers.
- Developing dedicated apps for local use.
- Technical support.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Unix and Unix-like platforms; primarily Linux, a tiny bit of FreeBSD.
- Knowledge of Ethernet networking, addressing, routing, VLANs.
- Experience in VPNs (OpenVPN, Wireguard, IPSec in tunnel mode).
- Experience in Directory (OpenLDAP), DNS (PowerDNS), Mail (Postfix, Dovecot, SOGo), Windows services (Samba).
- Knowledge of deployment in containers (Docker), configuration management (Ansible).
- Knowledge of POSIX Shell scripting, one high-level programming language (preferably Python), desirable one low-level language (preferably C or Rust).
- Experience in windows platform on the client (PC, Laptop).
