Position Description
As an Embedded Software Developer (POSIX OS), you have the responsible task to implement, test, and maintain the POSIX related components of our timing suite T1.
- Scoping, designing, implementing, testing and maintaining the POSIX related components of the world-leading software timing suite T1
- Tracking the relevant ongoing industry activities around real-time tracing, timing analysis and automotive (AUTOSAR AP, AGL, Linux Kernel Tracing and Real Time Linux, QNX community)
- Responsibility for the overall source code quality and maintenance for the corresponding components
- Technical support
- Developing diagnostic tools to reduce support effort
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of the C programming language
- Long-term experience and excellent knowledge regarding at least one of the following operating systems: QNX, (Embedded) Linux, VxWorks
- Overall good understanding of all components of a software application stack for POSIX on SMP
- Knowledge of software development processes, particular with regard to quality and safety
- Knowledge of resource-aware software development
- Knowledge of Low-level programming
- Experience with Intel x86 and ARM A-profile hardware architectures
- Experience in scheduling and schedulability analysis
- Knowledge of usability analysis
- Excellent English language skills are required.
