Embedded Software Developer, resource-constrained (m/f/d) – On-site at our Weilheim headquarters with optional hybrid arrangement

With our powerful Analysis Suite T1, we offer highly efficient software‑based timing analysis, optimization, and verification tools for embedded software. Our customers include leading companies in the automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors.
We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer who thrives in developing efficient, low-level software for resource-constrained embedded systems and contributes to the technical foundation of our T1 timing analysis suite. This role offers the opportunity to work close to the hardware, shape integration workflows, and strengthen the diagnostic and performance capabilities of our tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop multi‑platform embedded code for the world‑leading T1 timing analysis suite
- Create and maintain integration kits to simplify T1 deployment
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams
- Develop diagnostic tools to reduce support effort and improve troubleshooting efficiency
- Maintain and enhance the internal test infrastructure
- Perform timing analysis, scheduling analysis, and system‑level optimization
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in the C programming language
- Experience in resource‑aware and performance‑critical software development
- Solid background in low‑level programming
- Knowledge of assembly (PowerPC, ARM, TriCore, V850)
- Familiarity with software development processes, especially regarding quality and safety
- Significant experience with SVN, Git, GNU Make
- Knowledge of scheduling and schedulability analysis
- Scripting experience in Perl and Python
- Experience with Lauterbach TRACE32 or similar debugging tools
- Team-player mindset: you communicate clearly, contribute constructively, and enjoy learning from each other
- English language skills at C1 level
