Our timing suite T1 fully supports multi-core tracing and analysis, with all plug-ins able to independently act on individual cores. T1 ensures that traces from different cores can be synchronised to the accuracy of one trace timer tick, allowing timing relationships to be precisely tracked from task to task across core boundaries. In addition to using our own tools, we have extensive, practical knowledge of compiling for and debugging of multi-core projects. We have solved many multi-core problems and we understand the issues of debugging. Just to pick one example, a breakpoint might halt one core and leave others running and cause system failure that obscures the problem being analysed.
