"A Flapper girl from the 1920s gracefully stalks on stage to perform her famous club swinging routine.
But something is wrong with the gramophone. The funny, Charleston tune is grotesquely disparaged by a stuck needle: it slows down, it speeds up and when it doesn't stop to play on it's own account the mad Flapper decides: enough is enough!
She takes the record and smashes it over her knee – and suddenly the record is transformed into white juggling rings. With them a whole new, beautiful world begins..."

“Gramophonic harmony- the street show” takes this original act into a new dimension.

The 20 min circle show features physical comedy, juggling , a hilarious Swan lake dance with two volunteers, highly skilled hula hooping and a final astounding stunt on top of the genuine gramophone involving one hula hoop, three burning torches and a mad rotating Flapper!

This is a truly original show that has been successful in New Zealand and the UK during the last two years. It is suitable for family audiences and is targeted at festivals of all sorts.

The show was developed in 2004 with Bim Mason (director of Circomedia, the Dark Horse Company, Fooltime…)
and Rod Laver (World record holder, internationally known performer)
